Amber sunlight gleams off azure skies
As sweet winds whisper songs
Melodies of life heard
Carried upon the breeze
Each tune rustles
Scattered among the leaves
Sunlight fades
As distant light dims
Time passes by like a cold winter breeze
So cold
So unfeeling
Seconds pass as dusk fades into night
The shadows of yesterday
Arise anew
Bringing with them remembrance
Memories lost in the wake of time
Only to pass away
Once more.
