Between two lands I rest
As I wait and catch my breath
The rain falling
Torrents of pain obscure my vision
On one horizon lies the sun
Perfect, bright, and beautiful
While at the other rests the moon
Peaceful, ghostly, pale, and lovely
I try to chose which land
I know which is the greater light
The greater promise
Though I risk the burns of eternity
While I can trust in the coolness
Of silver moonlight
Both comfort me in darkness
Both bring me joy and light
Which shall I chose
For delay…
Risks losing both.
