Today my winter dream
Has fallen like the snow
With frigid depths and icy stream
Denying all I know
Night draws ever late
Across star filled skies
Chasing softly after fate
Revealing all your lies
My knight my love my song
Melody of life
Tune of ancient sorrow
Symphony of strife
This I close before tonight
As night fades into light.
