She wrote in her heart
All the things her face had hid
And fingers let slip
She wrote in her heart
All the things her face had hid
And fingers let slip
Entropy embraces us
Her kiss divides our atoms
Embracing chaos
A flick of her wand
And now everything’s aglow,
Illuminated.
“Save me”, cried the man–
A weak plea from the debris
Reached the angels’ ears.
Between my fingers
Space is aching for filling
With more than mere words
Kindness is not cheap
But neither can it be bought
As with loyalty.
You light up my world
With the echoes of your life
Yellow, green and blue
Chained to these voices
Apathy consumes my bones
Eight hours remain
I was your mistake
But you will never be mine
In love or regret.
One day I might trust
Enough to say everything
And cease to censor.
