Burdened to confess

In words unfit for publication

Resuscitation

Of a heart breathing again.

Though it seems feeble perspiration

Of persuasion for preparation

For breaking down once more.

Fragile structures

Self-constructed

Cannot be trusted

To bear its repetition.

But hope dispels decayed tradition

Too deformed to merit mention

And offers us love’s redemption

To start to built once more.
