Breathless Words

Every chance you have
You leave me breathless
Struggling for the words to say
I love you

I do
Very much so feel
So much, so often
Yet never say

These words are mine
Caught in between the various weaves
Woven into constructs beyond comprehension
Yet understood by all

Simple words
Strung into complex webs
Catching breaths
Losing time

Minutes falling between loops
Curving into that fatal dark
Feeling around that eternal cavern
That of infinite depth

Drowning in emotion
Struggling to swim
To climb up once again
To land

To take flight once more
Upon your love.

All of These Words

All of those words

All of those rhymes I wrote

Are bleeding into one

One memory

One vision of what we are

What we have ceased to be.

Memories of times we had

Times that will never be

Again

Time stops,

Preparing me for the next jump

Into a world I never thought I’d see

Again

Time falls

Back into the memories of the heart

Intertwined in incongruent patterns

Shadows mingled with the blazing light

Hiding

Waiting

Pondering in silence

So loud that it hurts,

To even breathe.
